DESIGN BRIEF
Dog treats usually come in plastic containers and or single-use packaging that are often covered in fatty oils that make them hard to recycle. Ruff Waters packaging goal was to create a sustainable and eco-friendly dog treat product that could survive on the shelf and have the chance of being re-used within the household.
DESIGN PROCESS
Our challenges were the packaging and recycling companies. Selecting an aluminum packaging and inner components that could hold perishable treats, and are durable enough for any adventure. Staying consistent with our intent of a fluid logo style, color and patterns were simplified and made in direct association with the treat flavors. Keeping all of these concepts in mind in order to provide the best outcome for our customers, their fur babies and the earth.
